Q A
Is your religion changing with the times?
The activities of the Church continue to evolve to meet the needs of the times. The fundamental teachings and practice of Christian Science do not change—nor will they change. They are fully and finally stated in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, based on the timeless healing works of Christ Jesus. Q
Are there any practitioners online whom I might talk to about Christian Science? A
A number of Christian Science practitioners (those in the full-time healing work of Christian Science) include an e-mail address in their advertisement in The Christian Science Journal, the monthly, sister publication to the Sentinel. Anyone is welcome to contact practitioners through the information in their listing, both for discussion as well as for healing work. You can obtain a copy of the Journal at any Christian Science Reading Room.
Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, established the Church of Christ, Scientist, "... to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing."
Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy
