My everlasting support—God
When times seem tough and frustrating,
And my skies turn from blue to gray,
I just become very quiet
and close my eyes to pray.
I know an everlasting support
Is beneath, around, above.
It can't be seen or touched or heard
but is felt through Spirit, Love.
When in sickness or in health,
With hope through thick and thin,
A child of God I will always be,
never can I sin.
So when you're down and lonely,
And you feel you've gone astray,
Just close your eyes and turn to God,
He'll always show you the way.
