Health restored
An experience several years ago helped me understand that any sincere student of Christian Science can learn to pray more effectively for himself or herself. On the evening before an important academic examination, I suddenly became ill. High fever and a pounding headache prevented me from preparing for the test. Almost automatically, I called a Christian Science practitioner and asked her to treat me. Then I fell into bed, tossing and turning until sleep finally came. The next morning I was able to take the test, but was not completely well.
My heartfelt gratitude for God's goodness resulted in a prompt healing.
