A petition's answer
Lift up my thought, O God, to Thee
That I may view reality:
A new heaven and new earth mine to see,
A present, profound possibility.
Open my eyes that I may see
Your glorious message meant for me:
Even the truth that makes me free
From evil's unreality.
If ears are dull of hearing
and eyes but dimly see,
If we are brokenhearted
and thoughts brood drearily,
Then, look up to good's infinitude
and evil will surely flee.
Prayer is always answered
As we love God supremely!
