Yielding

The lofty branches of the trees
sway beautifully with the breeze;
no rigidness do they display
but gently yield as shown the way.

This quiet message speaks to me
of the importance of humility.
No forceful will can ever hear
how to overcome the touch of fear
and feel the blessing ever near.

But moving forward with trust in God so true,
I can see each challenge through,
with an open, spiritual point of view.
