Be happy today
Too often, human life is not only less than ideal, it's downright gloomy. But happiness doesn't have to be a sometime thing or just beyond our reach. We can find happiness today—happiness that is deep and satisfying.
The reality of spiritual existence and its healing power is a practical source of joy. And when we glimpse something of the all-power of God, good, we actually discover happiness. Then we gain strength not to give in to inharmony or evil, not to let it determine our state of mind.
Isn't happiness, after all, dependent upon what we allow to govern our thinking? Do we need to be governed by everyday human conditions? Or shall we be governed by what brings improvement to those conditions—by the power and love of God? The choice is ours to make. And that choice is made easier as we come to realize that inharmony is essentially the result of not understanding the nature of good as the only reality of being. But because good is the only reality, joy is natural to all of God's creation—to each of us—right now.
