The body beautiful
When thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light." (Luke 11:34)
Neither slim chances nor fat gains
identify the temple of God,
the reflected "body beautiful,"
individual embodiment of spiritual good,
full of light,
expressing right.
"When thine eye is single"
thy whole body is in focus.
Self-seen as likeness of Spirit,
it is graciously groomed,
shaped of Soul,
and poised in Principle.
Tenderly, Truth teaches
to behold man as divine idea,
Mind-made,
in the image [and lithe-ness]
of Life.
Divine Love-shapen lives
fashion forms appealing,
revealing (when thine eye is spiritual),
thy "body" pure, lovely, holy—
incorporeal and beautiful.
