About fifteen years ago, I suddenly became almost totally deaf in both ears. I did my best to act normally and not to bring the problem to the attention of others.
I knew from past healings through spiritual means alone, both my own and others I had read and heard about, that this problem was actually a challenge in thought. I was confident that once thought was corrected, the physical healing would inevitably occur.
Each day I prayed specifically but did not focus my attention on a physical healing. Rather, I devoted my energy to uplifting my thinking. I knew that as I filled my consciousness with the light of Christ, the truth of God and man, this spiritual light would destroy any darkness of error in my thought.
