One power
Only one:
divine Love's own,
by which we are animated
and so live, acting
from the point of
present opportunity to love.
This was the Master's way;
from God he drew his strength,
healing the meek and faithful.
Our way, too, today,
as he plainly taught—
to reflect Love inexhaustible
counteracting evil's plea
futilely boasting itself above
what we know to be
good's infinitude.
Equipped then, we move ahead,
claim Love's omnipotence;
for here within Soul's domain,
in Truth's reign of freedom,
Spirit's wisdom pours forth
enabling us to know omnipotence—
the power of Love itself—
doing all the reaching out,
blessing immeasurably.
