I wish to send my gratitude for Christian Science, for the many blessings I have received through the study of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Two recent experiences stand out.
I had moved from a large house and a very different part of the country. I had to see that God had guided me to make the change and that I would be able to adjust. After the move I had a severe cold that left me with a persistent cough I could not seem to shake. I studied Mary Baker Eddy's answer to the question "What is man?" in Science and Health (see pp. 475–477) and other comforting citations, but apparently was not embracing them as true for myself. Then, at a Wednesday evening testimony meeting we sang Hymn 208, Mrs. Eddy's "Mother's Evening Prayer," from the Christian Science Hymnal. We reached the fourth verse,
