After studying Christian Science for about fifty years, I am submitting a testimony of healing for the first time. I do so out of gratitude for the testimonies and articles I have read in the Christian Science periodicals, and to encourage others who, like me, have been working out a problem over many years.
This healing took place over a period of five years. Although I had a Christian Science practitioner's help for a sore on my left ear that would not dry up and heal, I realised that whilst I was very grateful for the help of the prayer I had received, this was something I had to work out for myself.
As I prayed, one particular thought based on a testimony I read was a great help. It was that nothing inharmonious, false, or discordant could attach itself to, or be part of, God's spiritual, perfect creation.
