My mother was invited to read Science and Health at a very dark period in her life. Her husband had abandoned her and their two small children. Throughout the years, my mother's reliance on Christian Science met many physical, business, and financial challenges. Through prayer I was healed of grief after my mother's passing.

One healing in my adult life that stands out is the birth of our son, who was in a breech position. State law where we resided at the time required that an obstetrician be present for each home delivery. The doctor who attended the deliveries of our children was familiar with Christian Science, so when the baby appeared to be in the wrong position, he was willing to allow the Christian Science practitioner I had engaged, to give treatment through prayer. A couple of hours later, the baby was delivered normally.

My husband is a travel film lecturer and tours the United States and Canada showing his films to various travel and educational groups. Now that the children are grown, I am able to travel with him, and recently I have been doing some of the live narration.
