I had been doing an odd job for a friend and tried to move something that was very heavy. I felt a knot in my abdomen, but it did not give me any great concern. Later, however, I became very uncomfortable. I tried to rest, but the pain in my abdomen would not go away. I called a Christian Science practitioner for treatment and got some immediate relief, but not a complete healing. I continued to receive treatment from the practitioner over the next few days. During this time I stayed in the house, and in bed a good part of the time. Normal body functions were interfered with. I prayed with many truths from the Bible and from Science and Health.
It was as if I had cut off the pain. It was completely gone.
