CHRISTIAN SCIENCE SENTINEL—RADIO EDITION
Church: a dynamic, healing idea
David Brown of Laguna Hills, California, talks with Russ Gerber, host of the Christian Science Sentinel—Radio Edition, about overcoming resentment toward church—a healing that has changed his life.
Russ: Dave, I want to talk to you about your early experiences with church.
Dave: My experience begins back when I was a little kid. I grew up in a family where my mom and dad were both Christian Scientists. And they felt very strongly that I should be raised as a Christian Scientist. I felt I knew a lot about God and about the Science of Christianity as it's explained in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. But I went adrift.
