One night when I went to bed, I had a hard time getting to sleep. I prayed to God to know more about His goodness and peace. After I had been asleep for a while, I woke up with a stomachache. I went into the bathroom because I felt like I might get sick. Then I called my mom and told her I didn't feel well.
She assured me of God's love for me and for all of His children. She reminded me that God had healed all of our physical challenges so far and He would keep taking care of our health. She said: "God is your health; and God doesn't change. If God doesn't change, neither does your health. God is saving you from believing you should have bad health."
I got back into bed feeling much better. Then my mom reminded me of what we had learned about the word salvation in Sunday School just the past Sunday. The Golden Text for the Bible Lesson that week (from the Christian Science Quarterly) was from Psalm 119: "I have longed for thy salvation, OLord; and thy law is my delight" (verse 174).
