Since I learned of Christian Science, some forty-four years have passed. I would now like to write for the second time about the healing power of this religion.
My daughter had been living in Paris for some time, and I was on a visit to see her. After spending several wonderful days with her, I suddenly developed some kind of infection; my face and hands became swollen, and my hands turned blue. I immediately returned to Germany and studied the Bible and Science and Health, as well as articles in The Herald of Christian Science.
I remember having absolutely no fear, even though I was alone, with no telephone or human support.
