I was sick in hospitals for many years until I found Christian Science in 1950. Since that time I have not spent one day in bed because of illness. I enjoy wonderful health and a wonderful, useful life.

I would like to share a healing I had recently. We had moved to a new home and it was taking me a while to learn my new surroundings. One day I wasn't being as alert as I should have been, and consequently fell down a flight of stairs from the second floor to the first floor. My screams brought my son-in-law and daughter, and they found me upside down on the concrete. I was bleeding profusely from my head, and in pain.

My family expressed enormous calmness in the face of this accident, and shared with me truths of God's all-powerful love and presence. I was then able to pray quietly along with them.
