Before the summer holidays my Sunday School teacher...
Before the summer holidays my Sunday School teacher asked me to learn the Bible verse "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (II Tim. 1:7).
One night when I was at our friends' holiday house for dinner, I started to feel sick. I could barely eat my dinner and I felt as if I would throw up. I told my mum and she reminded me about the Bible verse I had learnt. I sat down in a very comfortable rocking chair by myself and thought about it a bit.
I knew Mum was praying, too. When our friends brought out some lollies, I realized I was feeling much better and I ate some. They were delicious and I enjoyed the visit very much.
