The experiences of testifiers, printed in the Christian Science magazines, have always been very encouraging to me. When I learned about Christian Science I didn't understand divine metaphysics, but the healings I read of were expressed in a very precious and understandable language. They communicated to me the fact of God's love for everyone. Many people throughout the world need that comforting knowledge. Christian Science has transformed my life and blessed me through dedicated study.

I was full of fear and overly sensitive. Because of this, I suffered greatly from many adversities and from many physical disorders. When I learned that man proceeds from God, divine Principle, and not from matter, I began to gain strength and assurance.

Along with the many physical ills that I suffered from, I also had a very great repulsion toward snakes. I had been taught to look upon these little creatures as representing evil, and as poisonous and deadly. I feared snakes so much that even seeing one in a picture or movie caused me to get sick to my stomach. That sensitivity many times caused me to be ill for several days.
