I am very grateful to Christian Science and to my Sunday School...
I am very grateful to Christian Science and to my Sunday School teacher. One day I was playing with a few friends and cousins. I suddenly fell down and I got a very bad hurt.
Every time I used to go to my grandmother if I got hurt, and she would help me out by praying. But this time I kept my mind steady and I remembered what my Sunday School teacher had taught me—a prayer to say when you are in great pain.
I started right away to pray sincerely. First I said the Lord's Prayer. Not only that, but I prayed that God's children are never in pain because God is never in pain, and also that they get healed—not after, or some time later, but right now. And while I was saying these prayers and thinking those thoughts, I didn't know when the pain disappeared.
