Guarding against unseen danger
Who isn't more than ready to avoid danger? As people learn about Christian Science and put it into practice, they see something of the far-reaching, beneficial effect it offers when they are confronted with danger, whether it's safety-related, a threat to their health, or perhaps the risk of losing a job. Time and again, people have proved that guidance, protection, and practical evidence of God's goodness result from consistent prayer.
But the student of Christian Science is alert to unseen danger as well. We're talking about the mesmeric influence that would silently attempt to close our eyes to the healing, regenerating Science of Christ.
We'd have to admit that anything that would claim to dull our thinking and shut out the light of this Science isn't something anyone can afford to overlook. In fact, we'd especially want to guard against this.
