Jesus told his disciples: "Freely ye have received, freely give" (Matt. 10:8). I would like to share two healings that might encourage and inspire others, as I have been helped through reading testimonies in the Sentinel.

Since childhood I was plagued with fainting spells that usually occurred during painful or stressful situations. For many years I prayed unsuccessfully to overcome a fear of having these uncontrollable and embarrassing episodes.

Then four years ago, when my mother-in-law was visiting our home, she fell and could not get up. My husband called an ambulance to take her to the hospital, and he accompanied her while I kept an appointment at home. Meanwhile, I contacted a Christian Scientist friend and asked her to pray for my own peace. She assured me of God's ever-present control.
