For children
The little dancer
Anne looked forward to starting kindergarten in one more year. But already she went to the Christian Science Sunday School every week. She liked Bible stories, and she knew from the Bible that God is Love and Life and Truth. Also, she was learning that Christ Jesus showed us how God heals. Jesus helped many people, including children, be healed. Healing still happens today through God's love, which never changes. Anne could say the Lord's Prayer and most of the Ten Commandments.
At home Anne's favorite game was dancing to music from the radio or record player. She twirled and jumped and skipped around the room. When she invited Mama to dance with her, they joined hands and whirled around together, laughing.
One afternoon Mama came home from the office very tired. She began to put the supper on the stove. Soon Daddy's train would be due at the station. Mama and Anne usually went to meet him in the car.
