When I walked into a Christian Science church for the first time and saw "God is love" written on the wall, I felt a spiritual warmth I had never known before.

Through the years my understanding of God has become clearer, and my prayers more spiritual. I have learned how to adhere more to Christ Jesus' example of healing, and how to live better in God's loving care. Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father" (John).

Since my first healing of a chronic throat abscess, I have continued to feel the power of prayer and have joyfully experienced wonderful protection. I've had healings of injuries from a fall down sixteen steep steps, of backache, indigestion, colds, and of a growth on my chest. Prayer not only brought about physical improvement; it also led me into a satisfying line of work. I also enjoy more harmonious relations with my family, business associates, customers, and friends.
