Healing at home, healing in the world
Prayer brings wonderful benefits to your life,
but it can always be broadened to include
caring for mankind.
Everywhere I turned I heard that the flu season was coming and that it was inevitable.
At first I was afraid there might not be much I could do to prevent the suffering predicted by the news media. I did know, however, that I had been healed of physical problems many times in Christian Science by relying on God's power. Healing had always resulted when I became ready to learn more about His nature and His willingness to heal me.
I remembered something Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health: "The great fact that God lovingly governs all, never punishing aught but sin, is your standpoint, from which to advance and destroy the human fear of sickness."
