"God creates all forms of reality." This statement from page 513 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy is really true, and can be used when danger looms ahead. I experienced the proof of this for the first time several years ago.

Early one winter morning I was on my way to work. I had to be there at six o'clock, and it was snowy and dark. I needed to walk from the bus stop down a road where there were no houses and not much light. As I was walking, I saw three young people coming toward me on the other side of the street. When they saw me they slowly began to cross the street.

I became very afraid; it was as if my heart stopped beating. But almost at the same time that I felt the fear, I heard a voice inside me saying: "God is right here, and God and His idea constitute all reality." I probably repeated this prayerfully several times. By then the young people stood in front of me and blocked my way.
