Thank you to all who contribute to the Christian Science magazines. The inspiring testimonies and articles are so fresh with hope for mankind, and so relevant to my own needs, that I feel impelled to share this testimony in return.

The harmonious and natural births of our two children were especially precious times to me in seeing the effectiveness of scientific prayer. Both births followed the prayerful preparation by my husband and me, with the support of a Christian Science practitioner.

About a year ago we had a wonderful lesson in seeing how very close is God's gentle healing presence. One evening our ten-month-old son appeared alarmingly listless and pale. His breath was faltering. These symptoms followed a day in which he had been quiet and not his usual bouncy self.
