See the true picture
Viewing circumstances, as Jesus did, from a spiritual perspective brings fresh opportunities—and healing—to our lives.
Are you having trouble seeing any evidence of good in your life? Perhaps this is an appropriate time to ask yourself if you're looking at circumstances from the right perspective, if you're seeing the true picture. Instead of accepting without question what the physical senses are telling us, we can learn to cultivate spiritual sense.
You might say: "I've got a health problem, and my job is uncertain. What can spiritual sense possibly have to do with all this? It doesn't sound very practical to me." Yet, even though it doesn't appear to be practical, spiritual sense has everything to do with discovering and proving the presence of good in our lives. Let me tell you of a friend's experience and how she was helped by taking more spiritual viewpoint.
A few months after accepting one teaching position, she was offered another position in a different school, which not only was nearer home o also presented more opportunity for her to pursue the kind of work she liked best. Although it wasn't possible for her to accept this second job offer, she felt keenly that this was where she belonged.
