At times I take Christian Science for granted, until I am...
At times I take Christian Science for granted, until I am graciously reminded of its wonderful effect on my life.
Recently I went to the dentist for a cleaning. As I sat in the chair waiting, a hygienist came in to update my medical card for the files. She asked if I'd had various physical illnesses; my answers were always "no." She told me, "You have the cleanest card I've ever seen."
This got me thinking how really grateful I am to be a student of Christian Science. My "good health" doesn't come from jogging or taking vitamins but from daily study of the Bible and Science and Health, and from my reliance on a spiritual understanding of God as the true source of health.
