Since I have been greatly inspired by the testimonies I have read in the Christian Science magazines and have experienced healings as a result, I'm especially happy to express my gratitude for them by sharing one of my own.
When I was introduced to Christian Science, I had suffered for some time from infected gums, which had led to extractions of teeth. One day shortly after I began to study this religion, I again felt the familiar symptoms of infection. I decided to say nothing to my husband about this, but to use it as an opportunity to practice what I was learning of divine Science; I sought no other treatment.
I called a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me and found temporary relief from the pain, but it would later return. One night the pain came with overwhelming severity. The practitioner was unavailable, so I just turned to God with all my heart.
