Have you ever found yourself in an impossible situation with nowhere to turn, no solution, no way out?
When I was sixteen, my grandfather moved in with my family. The arrangement caused a lot of friction and finally became unbearable. School was also a real problem for me. My grades were off, and I had only a few friends. I often felt alone and abandoned.
Mom and Dad belonged to different churches. We attended church every Sunday, first one then the other, but I didn't really feel a part of either one.
