From the time I first attended a Christian Science Sunday School...
From the time I first attended a Christian Science Sunday School as a teenager, I have been healed and sustained during many difficult times.
In 1988 I experienced a wonderful healing. I apparently had arthritis. I was so crippled that I was almost incapacitated and could hardly walk, dress, or sleep. I was also experiencing a heart problem with chest pains. I didn't eat much, as I did not bother to fix anything.
I called a Christian Science practitioner to give me treatment through prayer. Day and night she worked very diligently and lovingly, referring me to many Bible citations and passages from Mrs. Eddy's writings. These I read and studied constantly. We also prayed with the words of many beautiful hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal. This uplifted and purified my thinking.
