One Saturday evening, I cleaned the light fixture over the sink by standing on the counter top below. As I stepped back down on the chair I'd used to get to the counter top, however, the next thing I knew, I was flat on my back on the floor.
The first thought that came to me was this from Hymn 53 in the Christian Science Hymnal: "Everlasting arms of Love/ Are beneath, around, above. ..." With this came a wonderful sense of God's love enveloping me completely.
My husband came running when he heard the commotion, and I assured him I was all right. I asked for a few moments to get my thoughts together.
