The
purity of people's thought and action is closely related to the purity of the environment.
After a forest fire, new shoots soon push up through the blackened soil. For this writer here is a powerful symbol of the action of divine Principle.
"I repented of ... the big deal I had made of myself, when I was flying high. ... I asked God what I should do with the rest of my life and to lead me there. ..."
Is there a connection between prayer and health? Christian healing shows a tangible link.
Who couldn't use a more hopeful outlook? Are we ready to look beyond appearances and see more of God's presence?
Once, during a visit to a major industrial area in the United States that was also heavily polluted, I was struck by the challenge nations face in supporting a clean environment while also providing jobs for their people.
Responsibility for the environment begins with something as straightforward as "Love thy neighbour." It also calls on Christians to understand and practice the spiritual values that actually serve to purify the world we live in.
You don't have to feel empty and unloved. True love may be much closer than you think.
