Several years ago I had an experience which proved to me that steadfast trust in God will solve any problem.
Early one morning, I walked out of my apartment building to discover that my car was missing. Quickly the thoughts came that nothing can be lost in Mind, God; that God is in control; and that He is All-in-all, the only power in which I could trust. I also knew that whoever had my car was truly encompassed in God's goodness, reflecting His honesty, and I was certain my car would be returned.
For many mornings I looked out of the window, expecting to see my car on the street. This expectation never left me, nor did the great desire that whoever took it should be blessed. The police department warned me that youths just loved that model of car and that if it were ever found it would be a total wreck. Throughout this experience I silently denied this and other negative thoughts.
