Christian Science has been invaluable in solving all kinds of...
Christian Science has been invaluable in solving all kinds of problems in my life, from financial difficulties to bad relationships. One instance stands out as a beacon in my growth in Christian Science.
One Tuesday morning, about eight years ago, I started to watch a popular talk show host discussing racial issues. Choosing not to continue watching this program because I knew it was going to be a forum for much human opinion, I quietly turned the television set off and declared to myself: "God's love is the only healer, not human platitudes; and we 'are all one in Christ Jesus'" (Galatians). I did not know how soon I would be required to prove this declaration.
I also recalled a statement from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy: "The vital part, the heart and soul of Christian Science, is Love."
