I was brought up in Christian Science and attended Sunday School...
I Was brought up in Christian Science and attended Sunday School since I was very young. I have witnessed numerous healings in my family, including those of earaches, flu symptoms, relationship problems, and academic difficulties.
Two childhood healings in particular stand out to me. One winter my family was driving to the mountains for a weekend of skiing. We stopped along the way for dinner, and as we were leaving the restaurant, my finger got caught in the hinge of a heavy metal door.
What I remember most about the incident was that I felt no fear. I told my family not to look at my finger and said that I would be fine. My parents prayed for me, and I fell asleep in the back of the car. When I woke, I could not tell which finger had been hurt. I was completely healed.
