With much gratitude I testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science, which reveals God as all good and all-powerful.

At one point when our daughter was in grade school, she developed a persistent and troublesome cough. Because she had been a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School since the age of four, she agreed to call a Christian Science practitioner for treatment through prayer. The practitioner spoke to her of God's great love for His child. Before our daughter could hang up the telephone she was healed. She has had no further difficulty of that sort.

When this same daughter was in junior high school, she injured her arm. I prayed with our daughter with the conviction that Christian Science could heal anything. A practitioner was requested to pray with us too. The school staff thought that the arm was broken and expressed concern that she was wearing only the simple sling we had given her. Learning of this concern for our daughter, the practitioner sent a letter to the school, assuring them that our daughter had asked for and was having Christian Science treatment. No further questions were asked, and the sling was used only for a short time.
