I Am so grateful to have experienced the healing power of God, Truth, following a toboggan accident in which my back was hurt.
During a Christmas holiday many family members gathered at the home of my wife's parents on a mountainside. One day our teenaged daughter and her cousin and I decided to try out a new toboggan on the slopes near the home. After several successful runs we tried the steepest part of the hill. This slope ended in an embankment next to the neighbors' property. We ran into the embankment, and I was thrown from the rear of the toboggan over the top of the two girls. I landed very hard on my back on the neighbors' driveway and was knocked unconscious.
When I came to, I realized I could not move. I was in extreme pain and had difficulty breathing. I was grateful I had not landed on either of the girls! They were fine, and they had summoned help. My wife comforted me and gently helped me back on the toboggan, which was pulled slowly to the house.
