The Bible is a forward-looking book and compels the adventuresome reader to mine its depths of spirituality.
Many of us would to learn more about how to reach out to God. The Scriptures show us how to lead lives of prayer and spiritual inspiration.
The writer knew what he wanted—a change from sickness to health. But spiritual healing involved a deeper transformation, embracing his view of God, the Bible, and of man's nature.
When we've broken through to the "new man" the Bible describes, the old stereotypes can't stick with us.
