Beyond the label, forgiveness
Forgiveness calls for a higher concept of others, for the healing perception of man as God's own image.
You've just gone down to the basement. When you reach the canning shelves, you notice a lone glass Mason jar standing there. You bring it up to the kitchen, wipe off the thick layer of dust that has accumulated, and note the seal is still intact.
The label on the jar clearly says "peaches," but as you look through the glass, it is evident from color and shape that the contents are not peaches at all. You draw the following conclusions:
1. The jar has been on the shelf for a long time.
