Even as an eight-year-old, I searched for satisfying answers to my persistent questions about God. My paternal grandmother, who was a new student of Christian Science at that time, quietly encouraged my parents to consider study of this Science. Consequently, the way was paved for what became for our family a new, spiritual understanding of God.
With the introduction of Christian Science into our home, I was healed of a kidney ailment and of severe colds and earaches that had afflicted me each winter and kept me out of school for many weeks at a time. There were other healings in our family as well.
In the ensuing years, my husband and I have had convincing healings through our own prayers, or with the aid of Christian Science practitioners at different times, as we raised our family of four lovely children.
