I am so grateful to have witnessed the operation of God, divine Principle, in an experience our family had involving real estate. At one time it was necessary to find a home, and it seemed impossible to bridge the gap between what we needed and what we could afford. A Christian Science practitioner who was praying with us about the situation encouraged us to open our thought to the present availability of God's goodness, available to man in unlimited measure. She encouraged us to receive God's goodness "by the bucketful."

We decided not to base our search for a home on price but on trust in God, gained through prayer.

Shortly before the day when we had to move, one of the children in the Sunday School class I was teaching mentioned a problem her family was facing. They had bought a new house but were not able to sell their present one. We discussed with the class some basic spiritual truths that applied to the situation, and on the way home I prayed to know that Church, as described in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, does afford "proof of its utility."
