YOUTH OF ALL FAITHS ARE EXPLORING IDEAS
Meetings for young people in the United States and Canada began last August. Local Christian Scientist have initiated these meetings and opened them to all young people in their areas. Participants, aged twelve through thirty, explore prayer-based answers to questions they have in common. For example, question on identity, morality, relationships, careers, and what individuals can do about world problems like pollution, violence, economic anxieties, homelessness. The meeting format includes talks, workshops, music, as well as time for informal sharing, making new friends, and thinking about what's being said.
A complete listing of specific locations and times for 1992 and 1993 meetings can be found in the January 13, 1992, Sentinel. An update of the listing will be published in future Sentinels.
