INSIDE: LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE
"I was impatient to be somewhere else, anywhere else. Perhaps you have felt this way, too."
An article in this week's Sentinel opens with these lines. It speaks of an unrest that many people feel. The author tells of how a deepening conception of Christ, the spiritual idea of God, or divine good, brought peace into her life, as well as a better understanding of her ultimate goals.
It's not always easy to describe what Christmas means. But one of the most remarkable aspects of the Bible account of the first Christmas is that its promise reaches humanity where there is a readiness to welcome it. Each of the articles in this issue shows some aspect of the fulfilling of that promise.
