More than taste-testing the book

Have you seen the book?
What book?
The book with the cover—the new cover—red, blue, green. It has yellow letters on the front—the new Trade Edition of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
Sounds garish.
No, it's bright—looks attractive and contemporary.
What are they trying to do?
Have people buy it and read it!

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy has had many covers, from the original green cloth to black Morocco leather to colorful paper. May it have many more—and many more readers.

The strongest long-term multiplier of readers is probably readers themselves. A few months ago in a Sentinel an account of healing by someone living in Zaire told a story that had a familiar ring to it. The writer, who had been ill, said, "My friend, knowing of my condition, suggested I might try Christian Science. He began by lending me his copy of Science and Health, even though I had never seen anyone so attached to a book as my friend was to this book." The new reader found healing of the illness. He said it was like a new birth for him. He was able to discard medication and was soon well.
