I have been a student of Christian Science for many years...
I have been a student of Christian Science for many years and have always loved it, but only in recent years have I begun to appreciate something of its true worth.
I was taken to a Christian Science Sunday School as a young boy soon after my mother became interested in Science. I can remember now the welcome and love I received, and how I was quickly healed of a distressing speech impediment and also of biting my fingernails. I remained in Sunday School until World War II started.
During the war, I gradually drifted some way from Christian Science, although I had a very helpful meeting with a Christian Science Wartime Minister during that period. After the war I turned to Christian Science for help in readjusting to civilian life, and I met my future wife, who was also a student of Science. She has been a support and strength through many years.
