Riding Tab, learning a lesson
When I was in high school, my family bought a horse. Her name was Sassy. She had a two-month-old foal (baby) with her. His name was Tabron, Tab for short. I was very excited and I loved both animals immediately.
I rode Sassy almost every day, and I liked feeding and brushing both horses. I had the most fun learning from Tab and teaching him what he needed to know to be ridable.
First Tab learned to wear a halter and walk with a lead rope. As he got bigger he learned to carry a blanket on his back, and later to wear a saddle.
