I am very grateful to God for Christian Science, which has brought me many benefits.
Many years ago my parents and I learned of Christian Science when we listened to a radio broadcast. After that broadcast my father wrote to a Christian Science practitioner and asked for help through prayer for a heart condition. It was my father's wish to visit the practitioner and have an interview. So my parents took the train to the town where the practitioner lived. On the way home my father noticed that the pain had gone and that he was healed. He was able to work again.
Four and a half years ago I took up the study of Christian Science. I also started attending the Sunday services and Wednesday testimony meetings in a branch church. Until that time I had not understood much of this teaching. But after I began studying the Bible Lessons (outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly), I gradually discerned something of spiritual truth.
