Once when my husband and I were traveling in Tunisia, I became so ill that I couldn't think clearly. My husband got a call through to a Christian Science practitioner in the United States, who gave me strong, prayerful support, and within several days we were able to continue our travel schedule. The illness was gone. This healing showed me that distance is no hindrance to healing prayer, for ever-present, divine Mind communicates itself.

Another healing I had was that of a painful condition of the hip. After I had been praying to see the allness of God, Spirit, the healing took place while I was attending the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church in Boston. The gratitude I was feeling for being there played an important role in the healing.

Another time I had painful and restrictive knee trouble. I was diligent about knowing that in the allness of God, good, nothing evil could govern man nor restrict right activity. The trouble dissipated, so when I was asked to join a hiking group I felt that the healing had taken place and I could accept. I was inspired to realize that my decision to accept the healing as complete was part of proving that it was. I was most grateful for the dominion and freedom I experienced through Christian Science.
